The sun's ultraviolet rays combine with moisture in the air to create atmospheric hydroxyls that clean and protect the earth's environment. Our devices use technology that replicates mother nature to provide a constant stream of hydroxyls that destroy contaminants on both surfaces and in the air.
When ultraviolet light strikes titanium dioxide, it frees electrons that turn oxygen and moisture into highly reactive –OH radicals or so called hydroxyl radicals. These charged particles then oxidize air contaminants on both air and surface pathogens such as volatile organic compounds (VOC), viruses, bacteria, molds, odor causing compounds,… turning them into carbon dioxide, water, and other organic oxidants, which continues the oxidation process of VOC’s and pathogens. We simply call this the cascade effect that introduces a safe, naturally derived and continuous disinfection system for both air and surfaces (hard and porous).
